Another world crisis is happening and the news coming from Ukraine is both terrifying and heart breaking. When everything seems overwhelming and as to falling apart around us, how do we justify our emotion, how are we supposed to or even allowed to feel? I’ve been thinking a lot about how we as humans are multi-faceted beings, our emotions are complex, and we do have the ability to feel both sadness and happiness at once. Discussing this in my last newsletter, one of my subscribers came back to me with this quote, which together with my needles, I’ve kind of have held on to lately:
Life does not cease to be funny when people die any more than it ceases to be serious when people laugh.
George Bernard Shaw
So, on that note, lets meet up tonight to share our joy for knitting, find some happiness and create a slightly better world.
The details are the same as always, we are on from 7pm to 8.30pm UK time, you’ll find the link to join at the bottom of this post, and you can drop in at any point. If you are joining us for the first time, read more about Zoom and how it works in the first post we did about the virtual knit nights right here.
Our next virtual knit night will be Thursday April 14th 2022.

Until tonight my friends …
