It’s Mystery Knit-A-Long time! The excitement, the thrill, the unknown! It has us hooked from beginning to end. Susanne Sommer’s MKAL begins on the 21st May. Titled ‘Brioche + Mystery’, this is going to be one for brioche lovers. Judging by Susanne’s other brioche designs I think we will be in for a treat.

The Mystery works like this: every week a pattern clue is released and you knit away on this clue until the next clue is released the following week. This happens for four weeks and when you reach then end you are left with a fabulous piece of knitting that you never imagined and a wonderful journey. The excitement grows through virtual gatherings and social media with knitters using the hashtag: #SosuMKAL2021.

All we know is that it will be a shawl and that you need four skeins of fingering/4ply weight yarn. It’s going to involve brioche, so a degree of confidence in brioche knitting would be good. There is still time to get some brioche practice in!
