Hikari by Yamagara. This simply shaped top is worked top down and in the round. A striking feature is the bold geometric design which is worked with twisted rib and seed stitches. Knit in a plant fibre blend try this in Nurturing Fibres Eco-Lush.

Zoraya by Justyna Lorkowska. Worked seamlessly in the round but with a simple but effective looking lace repeat. I love all over lace patterns like this, they elevate simple shapes and give a lightness to the fabric. Creating a top perfect for cooler summer evenings. Try this in Stolen Stitches Nua.

Lebranc by amirisu. This simple design is knit entirely in moss stitch. I like the shaping of the little sleeve caps which are worked in rib from the armholes. This design is made for hand dyed yarn. Try Hedgehog Fibres Twist Sock. A slightly lighter yarn than the pattern calls for, but with such a great range of colours.

Mieko by Yuki. These pretty socks have an appealing open basketweave texture. knitted top down they have a generous rib that starts just above the ankle. The perfect knitted sock for when the weather is warmer. Try a yarn that will give good structure like Coopknits Socks Yeah.

Mado by Kiyomi Burgin. This design is playful and has a bit of humour about its which I like. It’s worked flat and seamed together. The little windows are knit using intarsia in a silk mohair giving you little see-through apertures. Window details are then added after. Try Hey Mama Wolf Schafwolle #03 for the body and Fyberspates Cumulus for the windows.

Bisou by Paula Pereira. I like the neck shaping of this cool summer top. It has a sophisticated holiday vibes. Worked from the top down with short row shaping around the neck. Knit in a 100% linen try Växbo Lingarn.

Tabouret by Kiyomi Burgin. This structural hat has an interesting rib detail the continues up to the crown. Knit in the round and blocked over a plate to give it its dramatic shape. Knit in a worsted weight Hey Mama Wolf Schafwolle #03 or for a bit more colour Garnsurr Pan.

Hamabe by Rie. This top has a fun construction and goes in different directions. An all over wavy pattern gives this simple shape a stylish look. Knit in a light fingering try in G-uld No.4.

Valencia by Alice Caetano. This super stylish top looks neat and well finished. A high split hem is highlighted with a clever use of a contrasting colour. Have fun choosing a contrast colour for this design. The smooth structure of Coopknits Socks Yeah would add the right touch.

Prouvé by amirisu. This charming intarsia shawl is all about the colours you choose. Worked from the bottom up it’s a fun combination of triangles. A yarn that is light but with good drape like Black Elephant Merino Singles would be lovely.

Mimoza by Mizuho Komiya. This light an airy wrap is knit in a combination of brioche and garter stitch and combines a lace weight yarn with a lace weight mohair. I would love to see combination of Hey Mama Wolf Ahimsa No.10 and Hedgehog Fibres Kidsilk Lace.

Azure by Yuko Shimizu. This loose fitting wrap cardigan is a great layer for when its warm. Knitted from the top down, its long fronts can be tied casually. The casual fit of this cardigan is offset by strong chevron details that run over the body. Knit in a 100% linen try Växbo Lingarn
