Introducing Louisa Harding

I first came across Louisa Harding years ago, when as a new mum I bought a pattern collection named ‘The Magical World According to Miss Millie’, and found myself completely enhanced by the fairytale world of Louisa’s children clothes. Sourcing new yarns to introduce to Knit with attitude’s selection I was made aware of her new collections, and you know what, I find myself completely enhanced once more. I am ridiculously excited about Louisa Harding yarns now becoming available through Knit with attitude!

Louisa Harding’s yarns come with gorgeous pattern support, a large selection of designs all created by Louisa to perfectly showcase each yarn type and it’s fibres. I have to admit that the collection with the Norwegian name ‘Eventyr’, meaning ‘Fairytale’ in English, has found a particular soft spot in my heart. Just look at the delicately added details using Luzia, I’ve never seen a faux fur yarn this authentic looking before! Luzia is made in Viscose, which is fibres made of cellulose (wood pulp), held together with a Nylon binding cord. Luzia is a beautiful alternative if you prefer to stay clear of the fur industry.

Louisa works together with her husband photographer Stephen Jessup to create the most amazing imagery – a visual invitation to enter the magical world of Louisa’s designs. To view more from Louisa’s gorgeous collections visit Eventyr, Odense and Amitelle. Each collection’s description has an extensive picture gallery, just double click the individual ikons to see the pictures in their full sized glory. Enjoy!
