Shapeshifting

Bless Stories and Knit with Attitude are shapeshifting.

From the very beginning, Bless Stories and Knit With Attitude chose collaboration over competition, nurturing community and holding safe and truly inclusive spaces. Through my deepening friendship with Ashlyn, it became clear just how aligned the worlds of craft and soulful living really are. We both share a love of slow living, textiles, craft, and colour.

In a moment of unmistakable divine timing, Ashlyn, founder of Bless Stories, is stepping away from running the shop to follow her holistic path more fully, and to begin an exciting new chapter working with the award-winning charity Furnishing Futures, where she will be managing their events and retail space, The Atrium.

This transition has opened a unique and beautiful opportunity for me to make 111 Stoke Newington Church Street the new home of Knit with Attitude. After 12 years on the high street we’re sad to say good bye, but we’ll just be around the corner. It is a huge change leaving our home creating a new one, but we are excited to be moving forward exploring new opportunities and what the award winning Stoke Newington Church Street has to offer.
Since 2010 we’ve been sourcing ethical, sustainable, scrumptious yarns for you, when visiting our new shop you’ll find the yarn haven exactly as you are used to, just more. As always, we believe in building strong community and we truly enjoy being part of our customers’ creative journey offering guidance and encouragement along the way. Our workshops and social gatherings will continue to flourish, in a new beautiful setting.

As this new chapter unfolds, you will find a magical Bless edit of everyday essentials for daily devotion, tarot decks, natural beauty, and wellbeing products.

Our work together continues to deepen. Bless Stories events will be hosted at the Bless Warehouse in Clapton, where we will also be collaborating on future gatherings and creative projects, including the upcoming retreat Knit Calm, and the ongoing exploration and development of the Bless Stories India project.

With a shared love of workshops and gatherings, the combined passions of both worlds expand what’s possible. One day you might find a crafting circle, the next an astro or tarot café—each offering a different way to connect, create, and pause together.

As part of this evolution, The Bless Sanctuary in our basement is changing its name to Sanctuary at 111. Tarot and astrology readings will continue to be available,, long regarded as one of London’s best-kept secrets.

The last regular day on the High Street will be Saturday January 31st, then we will close the shop to make the move. This shouldn’t take many days so we’ll be back open next week.

George and I are excited to welcome you all to this new space and chapter in Knit with attitude’s story!
