Pael by Aleks Byrd. The Estonian colourwork technique of Roosimine features in this top down tank top. The bands of Roosimine along with Estonian knitted braids run along the shoulders and the hem of this design. A simple shape with a deep v-neck. It is knit in a combination of a fluffy yarn and a 4ply so Fyberspates Cumulus with Hillesvåg Sølje would be my choice. The contrast colour is created with a thick plump yarn like the Pickles Cozy.

Pinaceae Hat by Rachel Brockman. Knit from the bottom up this hat starts with the main body and is knit to the crown. Angular cables cover the whole design. To finish stitches are picked up from the cast on edge to create the double layer brim. Maybe I would choose the crisp Pickles Pure Wool for this.

Poet Skirt by Sari Nordlund. This skirt is knitted from the top in one seamless piece. An all over bold lace design that ripples throughout to great effect. It is knit in two strands of yarn held together after fluffy one and a smooth one. It’s knit on 3.25mm needles so I wonder if just using a strand of Hillesvåg Sølje as it blooms slightly after blocking you would get a slight fuzzy quality. For a denser fabric you could always go for the thicker Tinde.

Reitti by Weichien Chan. This classically constructed yoked jumper starts from the top. Knit in the round the colourwork yoke design extends to the underarms. The colourwork design has a simple memorable repeat while still being interesting. I would try the Weku Yarn Bukom DK for this.

Scarborough by Jonna Helin. This relaxed turtleneck jumper is designed to be casual and cosy. Knit from the top down with neat raglan shaping. Knit with two strands of yarn held together a fluffy lace and a 4ply. I’m tempted though and maybe it is going against the spirit of the design but because it is knit on 6mm needles I would knit it with Hillesvåg Forgarn.

Sidonie by Lis Smith. The textured yoke in this design features an array of cables, bobbles and lace stitches. Knit from the top down and in the round. Try Hey Mama Wolf Mokosh.

Sissi by Tiia Reho. This jumper features a v-neck both on the back and the front. Slightly Deeper at the front and shallower at the back. Knit from the top down, starting flat and then joining to knit in the round. A contrast of texture between the moss stitch sleeves and the stocking stitch body is a nice detail. Combining a fluffy lace with a 4ply I would choose Fyberspates Vivacious 4ply paired with Fyberspates Cumulus.

Snow Gum by Susanna Kaartinen. Knit from the hem up starting with the ribbing. Then joined to work In the round and utilising a steek in the colourwork section. The wavy colourwork lines are created with a clever use of increases and decreases either side of them. Hey Mama Wolf Beara would create a lovely earthy version of this design.

Stonewash by Justyna Lorkowska. Starting at the top shoulders the back is worked and then stitches are picked up from the sloped shoulders for the front. This creates a better fit at the top. An all over textured stitch of knits and purls covers the entire jumper. The sleeves worked from the body have a slightly puffy quality created by the pinched in cuff. Knit with a fluffy lace held with a merino 4ply I would choose a combination of Fyberspates Vivacious 4ply and Fyberspates Cumulus.

Tupi by Orlane Sucche. A seamless top down cardigan with raglan shaping and a charming twisted stitch detail that runs along the front panels and flows into the ribbing. There are also textured details on the sleeves. I would choose Hey Mama Wolf Skadi.

Wild Rose by Dee Hardwicke. This lovely colourwork tank top starts with the two colour base in a trellis design. Knit from the top down with contrasting ribbing. The flower detail is then embroidered over the top adding the finishing touch. Knit in Laine x Novita 4ply.

Zulte by Julia Wilkens. This sleeveless zippered jacket has a relaxed oversized feel. Starting at the upper back where stitches are then picked up for the fronts. The hem is double knit and the collar is folded to give those finished touches. It is knitted by holding two strands of yarn together but I would skip that and just choose Forgarn again.
