Colour Inspiration – Halloween

Goblins and ghouls have worked some mischief on our widow display and turned it into a spooky fantasy. This however is all for a good cause. We are taking part in the Trick or Eat trail.

Trick or Eat is organised by Hackney based Local Buyers Club and brings together residents and business in order to collect donations for Hackney Foodbank. During Halloween on Tuesday 31st October 2023 from 3 – 6pm, collection boxes will appear for you to drop off donations. Knit With Attitude is pleased to be taking part along with others around Stoke Newington and Hackney and you can find all the locations on this map. If you have any food you are able to donate what is most needed is pasta sauce, tinned custard, rice pudding, UHT milk, long-life juice and washing up liquid. We will have a box in the shop with the Trick or Eat poster on it where you can leave your donations.

We have had great fun making our window display and filling it with pumpkins, cobwebs and of course lots of Halloween inspired yarn. A range of autumnal oranges, rusts, greys and blacks look so great together I had to do a Halloween colour inspiration post. So read on for some spooky colour combos.
