With more than a decade in the fashion industry, when creating My Favourite Things Louise Rasmussen’s main focus has been to create classic and timeless wardrobe favourites of high quality, that lasts for more than a season: simple but aesthetically pleasing designs with thought out details, always aiming for ‘the perfect fit’. Here at Knit with attitude we’re huge fans of My Favourite Things, and especially her camisoles of which we have knocked up quite a few.

Meet Camisole No. 9, a classic top designed from the premise of ’less is more’. It has a tight fit, with few, but distinctive details that add character.The top is worked from the top down, which gives you the opportunity to adjust the length to suit you. Stylish to wear on its own on hot days, and perfect for layering up during colder seasons – this is the new go-to staple piece in your wardrobe.

We choose G-uld No.4 for this design, in our opinion a match made in heaven! G-uld No.4 has the most wonderful shine and is made from the softest Falkland Merino/Gotland fiber blend, in a gorgeous palette of naturally dyed colours specially developed for Knit with attitude, making it impossible not to fall in love with it. No.4 is a light 4Ply weight yarn with a lovely twist, making sure you get a superb stitch definition and that those endless rounds of Stockinette Stitch will fly off your needles. When using the No. 4 for the Camisole No. 9 you’ll be rewarded with a light as air and soft to the skin new favourite top! 

Sizes 1-8: Camisole No. 9 is designed to have a negative ease of approx. 12 – 15cm / 4.75 – 6”.
The sizes suit a bust circumference of approx. 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140)cm / 31.5-33.5 (33.5-35.5) 35.5-37.5 (37.5-39.5) 39.5-43.25 (43.25-47.25) 47.25-51.25 (51.25-55)”. If you are in between sizes, choose the smaller size.

We’ve done the maths for you so according to your size, with the generous meterage of No. 4 you’ll need one hank for the two smallest sizes, and all the others sizes can be completed with two hanks. In addition you’ll need circular needles size 2mm / US0, 2.5mm / US2 and 3mm / US3 with 60cm/24” to 100cm/40” length, and a darning needle for weaving in your ends.
